300s +

Nearing the end of a full week of workouts.   Been hesitant to do any short and powerful speed work because of my recent strains, but all is well now, and I played it safe today while getting a good workout.

Just like yesterday but a tad warmer at 7:30am on the Dean Hayes track.  Sunny, mid 60s and breezy.   I need to start getting up earlier if I want to limit my sun exposure, even by 7:30, the sun is full force.

I started easy and picked it up.
400m warmup, stretches, drills 
Saucony spikes on 
3 x 300m - 45, 43.5, 42 
300m - 42.5 / 1 min rest / 100m - 14.5
I definitely had to dig deep to run that last split 400m, it was tough after the 3x300.

Light... 140.2 lbs after workout.
