300s, turns

Still a little sore from the workout of Thurs, as was the ankle, but I got a solid workout in and generally ran fast.  No full speed stuff though.   Just ran some turns after my 300s.  Fasting today and have a colonoscopy coming up, so I was a little weak.

Party cloudy about 50º at the Dean Hayes track.  I was alone except for a spear thrower from Ghana.  He was just finishing up.  Good thing, accidents do happen.

It'll be interesting to see how much weight I lose during this fast.  Should give me a baseline on what I weigh 'empty'.  Probably will not be back on the track til Wednesday.


  1. Really like your attitude....much more positive. I also support your new emphasis in longer training periods between meets and greater resistance work effort. I truly believe that it is the pathway to greater speed and fewer injuries. Fewer meets is also a PLUS!
