tempo 300s, 200s

Volume tempo workout Monday evening in idyllic Sewanee.  Dry and calm about 74º at sunset.   Feel pretty good, healthy with the lower volume this week.
Hoka trainers on 
400m warmup, stretches, drills 
4 x 300m w/2 min rest - 46.5, 49, 50, 52.5  
4 x 200m w/1 min rest - 29.5, 31.5, 31.5, 31
It was really hard.  I started the 300s a bit too fast and that set the tone for some real suffering.  Still, my times are a bit slower than I was running last year at this time.  My weight is good but I feel a bit soft and need some resistance work tomorrow.  142 lbs after workout.

Looks like I may race this Saturday in KY.   I wish they'd post the schedule.
