Perfect day in Sewanee, 67º, partly cloudy, light winds. On the track a consecutive day because it feels ok and the weather is irresistible. I killed it today. Fastest 4x300 in 3 yrs I think.
Hoka trainers on
stretches, drills, 2 x 100m on turf
4 x 300m w/ 2:30 rest - 46.84, 48.07, 50.29, 50.96 (avg 49.06 sec)
200m - 27.01
I feel like I'm making progress, now I need some rest from running tomorrow, then speed work, and strength work. Haven't put in this kind of volume in 2 consecutive days in a while, 3500m in 2 days.
My training schedule for the upcoming week will be bike ride tomorrow and weights in the evening, speed work on the track Wed, then another workout cycle Fri, Sun, Tues. Hoping that my 2nd covid vaccine on Sunday after my workout won't affect me much. I have two 3 day/week workout cycles before my first college meet on 4/10. Been also doing a lot of ab and upper body stuff at home.
After my workout, I hiked down into the Shake Rag hollow and yes, wildflowers are blooming!
139.1 lbs after workout
