Warm and pleasant at the SAS track, 73º at sunset, calm winds, feels almost like summer. I tried to do the 6x200m w/ 3 min rest workout. Naturally, I was trying to 'one-up' myself from the previous 6x200m... but I failed.

5 x 200m, 100m w/ 3 min rest - 28.38, 28.06, 28.17, 28.82, 29.79, 14.50
200m - 26.87
150m - 19.62
Not only were these slower than last session, I couldn't get 6. After #5, I was barely hanging in and totally lactic, and had to finish the 6th with a 100m instead of a 200m. Not sure what my issue is. Maybe a little heavy, soft... been eating a lot of bread this week. Not terribly heavy, 140.3 lbs after workout, but I can feel a slight difference. After 5 I was averaging 28.64... compare to avg 28.23 after 5 last time. I finished 6 last time avg 28.51. So, this was a disappointment. Maybe was still a bit fatigued from working on my boat and from the weight room last night.
I finished with 2 long sprints about 400m race pace.
I think I'll do speed on Sunday and maybe do this one again on Tues.
