A brief update, I will post more later when I'm back home but in summary, day 3 went well for me. Saturday, I raced both the 100m and the 800m for the first time at Nationals.
I took the Bronze in the 100m, and the Silver in the 800m in a time of 2:18.74. In the past, I've run only my strongest events, the 200m and 400m, but I decided to run 4 events this year (100-200-400-800). My 100m time yesterday (12.43) was faster than today (12.61), and still stands behind Allan Tissenbaum's time as world ranked #2. In my third race of the day, I ran a 25.48 200m prelim, presently world ranked #2 behind Allan who qualified first with the world leading M60 200m time of 25.22 (in the previous heat). 200m finals tomorrow. Photos of my 200m and 100m race today. (note: McDuffrie stepped on the line repeatedly, as he did in the 400m. Cheater!)
