4th day on the track in 5 days. 5th set of tempo 300s this month. After a couple disappointing workouts, finally some progress today. My best set of 4x300w/3m this year. Good conditions at Sewanee, 70º, cloudy, but with an occasional E wind.

I went with the attitude today of 'just get 4x, just get it done, don't worry about the time.' I was surprised that the first one was as fast, was really trying to just get the first one out of the way with as little effort as possible. I can pretty much tell if I am going to make it by how I feel toward the end of the last rest period, and I knew I had this set. A full second faster than my best this month. Considering in April I was only doing 3x300 w/ 3min at 52.23, this is progress.
I think getting out there more often, even with less volume is ok. I will be transitioning to more speed next month.
