Nice day, warm, mid 70ºs, and no wind at sunset at the Sewanee track. No one there (except for the elderly French woman who walks).
I swam across Lake Jackson this afternoon, and I kinda didn't feel like training today. Didn't sleep that much. But I got to the track and got it done. A good hard one.
Hoka trainers on
stretches, drills, 2 x 100m, 50m
5 x 300m w/ 6 min rest - 44.73, 44.94, 45.69, 47.17, 47.47 - Avg. 46.05
Happy to get it done, virtually the same time as my last set of these in May, just 0.06 slower avg. Started the first 2 maybe a little brisk.
With no races this upcoming weekend, looking forward to my last scheduled 400 and 200 races at the TN State Games on the last weekend in June. Then, I may race one more in FL, but not sure. Maybe not. Just driving down there will upset my training schedule since there is limited access to a track there.
