brief and to the point

Not much daylight left when I arrived at the Sewanee track after an afternoon hike.  So, I did a fast 800m for endurance, 200s for speed, and weights for strength.  Still feel a little vulnerable in the left ham so I didn't do anything too explosive.

Another gorgeous evening in Sewanee, 70º with a light breeze.
400m warmup, stretches, drills
800m - 2:15 (64.5 / 70.5)
2 x 200m - 26.5,  27
weights
It was the fastest 800m I've done in a workout.  It was a pretty good indication I'm in shape.  Need to do some 300m event runs to work on race pace.  Wish I was confident enough to do some fast 100s / 150s.
