Did stadium stairs this morning. Only could muster 8. Feel as if I were in better shape in Aug. About 4 lbs lighter then. I definitely felt it in my calves and thighs. Will have to do more of these.

Also, have been feeling a persistent mild to moderate abdominal pain in the area of stomach/ pancreas. Was bothering me during this run but went away afterward. Certainly worrisome. Hadn't eaten since Thurs night.
I think I'm going to try a fast. I need to lose weight and it might be a good time. Just water and herbal tea. Let's see if I can make it from Thurs night to Sunday morning, 60 hrs. We'll see.
I think I'm going to get the Galleri Grail test, and another CA19-9 and CEA done in a few weeks. Just curious if there is movement in these markers. Genetic test was negative for known inherited mutations associated with cancer.

Those little benign fluid filled cysts won’t cause symptoms. There is nothing wrong with your pancreas. It’s all in your head. Forget about it. Those tests are useless for screening asymptomatic people. Don’t be like Dr Oz or RFK. Follow the science. Pancreatitis can cause symptoms or clogged common bile duct can cause symptoms- which will be elucidated by your MRCP. Pancreatitis will elevate amylase and lipase enzymes. You can check those. Mild elevation is nothing to be worried about but multiples of the upper normal are, according to my gastroenterologist.
ReplyDeleteThis is new, this stomach pain came about in the last few weeks. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my gut biome? Wondering if I may have caught the H pylori infection from Roya, although I was careful not to kiss on the lips. Her symptoms are different though, stomach acid. I have no issue with that. If the CA19-9 is the same, elevated at the same level, I'm ok with that. If it doubles or more, then it might be an indication of something. I moved my appt with the EUS guy up to April just in case.
